Many have asked for ways to better identify class sections in GoGuardian. While GoGuardian does not allow for the renaming of sections because they are synced from Clever, there is a way to add more information to your course tiles so that you can better identify sections. You can utilize class descriptions by following the steps below.
- On the Classrooms page, click Settings within the course tile you’d like to add a description to
- Click Edit Class in the drop down menu that appears
- In the Description field, add any text you would like that will help identify your course
- Click Update Classroom at the bottom of the screen
- When back on the Classrooms page, you will see your course description beneath the course tile
