Protecting our digital classroom starts with more than just a strong password. At Saratoga Springs City School District, we are committed to securing student data and district networks by implementing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) in Microsoft 365. MFA adds a critical layer of defense: even if someone steals your password, they still can’t access your account without a second “factor” of verification, such as a code on your phone or a fingerprint scan.
This simple step blocks over 99% of account-compromise attacks. By requiring a second form of ID, we ensure that our digital learning environment remains a safe space for staff and students to collaborate without the fear of phishing or unauthorized access. Follow the guide below to set up and manage your MFA settings.
